After one more chilly morning and frost in some areas today, it will finally be time to put away the winter gear. Citrus and Hernando counties are under a freeze warning until 10 a.m., and a frost advisory was in effect this morning in other areas as morning temperatures dipped into the high-30s to low-40s with decreased winds, prompting Hillsborough County to open cold-weather shelters Wednesday afternoon. The warm-up starts today as highs will reach the low-70s under sunny skies, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said. Tonight will be clear and cool with lows in the mid- to upper-40s. Temperatures start to return to more seasonal conditions on Friday, with highs in themid-70s ahead of weekend highs that should again approach 80 with increasing humidity on Easter Sunday.
