Chantal remnants, low pressure raise rain chances
Overnight temperatures will dip into the mid-70s under partly cloudy skies across the Tampa Bay area, meteorologists say. Friday, the remnants of what was formerly Tropical Storm Chantal will approach Florida, which coupled with a trough of low pressure pushing through the Southeast will mean increased chances of rain, says WFLA-TV meteorologist Julie Phillips. Storms will start in the morning hours.
