Language of dance: “Verbo,” an original dance theater piece that explores language and movement, will be performed at 8 p.m. at the Mainstage Theatre at Hillsborough Community College, 2112 N. 15th St. in Ybor City.

Verbo explores how differences in language lead to disparities in experience and thought across cultures. Constructed in sections, each movement is dedicated to a different word from a foreign language for which there is no English translation.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at www.verbodance.com.

Vendors will be there with the newest in tackle, gear and boats, and visitors can attend fishing seminars and enjoy a 100-foot indoor casting pond, a kids’ casting pond, hands-on rigging tables, free-fly and net-casting lessons, plus exhibits of Burmese pythons, a 500-gallon fish tank from Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission and more.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $8, and kids 12 and under are admitted free with an adult. For a $1 discount coupon and more details, go to FloridaSportsman.com/Expo.
