Incarnation church carnival set for April
TAMPA - The carnival is back in town and itís free. For 48 years, Incarnation Catholic Church hosts its annual carnival. This year marks the latest rendition and it is a four-day event, from April 18 to 21. On Friday and Saturday, the event runs until midnight. The carnival is a huge success each year and is featured on the church grounds in Town Ní Country at the corner of Hillsborough Avenue and Webb Road. There are plenty of rides on the midway and admission is free, although tickets must be purchased for rides. Ride tickets can be purchased at half-price at the church office through 4 p.m. on April 19.Plenty of games and entertainment are available under a large tent. Food is everywhere, including Greek, Italian, Spanish, Philippine, Chinese and American favorites. Carnival Chairman Paul Hunter said all of the food booths offer reasonable prices. Incarnation will also be hosting one of the largest thrift stores anywhere. Donations can be dropped off on April 17 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. More donations will be accepted throughout the event. Carnival times are: April 18, 6 -10 p.m. April 19, 6 p.m. Ė midnight. April 20, 2 p.m. Ė midnight. April 21, 1-8 p.m.
