Center Place Fine Arts, 619 Vonderburg Drive in Brandon, presents “Three Little Pigs” at 7 p.m. for children age 3 through the third grade.
Three unique piglets find themselves “home alone” when a certain well-known wolf invites himself to dinner. Will they be devoured separately or will they learn to overcome their differences and join forces to battle the hungry wolf?

The Trey Curry Foundation invites the public to the sixth annual Vine to Wine Tasting & Silent Auction from 7 to 10 p.m. on May 10 at The Regent, 6437 Watson Road in Riverview.
Enjoy fine wines along with gourmet food and auction items while listening to live entertainment and enjoying a cigar. Proceeds benefit the Trey Curry House at A Kid’s Place.

Girl gone wild:
Amy Schumer brings her standup act to Ferguson Hall at the Straz Center, 1010 N. MacInnes Place, at 8 p.m.
With her blend of girl-next-door looks and edgy humor, Schumer is the creator, star and writer of “Inside Amy,” her new Comedy Central television show.

Zoo loves moms: Bring your mother to Lowry Park Zoo Mother’s Day weekend and she gets in free.
On Saturday or Sunday, moms receive free admission with the purchase of their son’s or daughter’s full-priced admission ticket (paid ticket can be child or adult admission, as applicable). For moms to receive the free ticket offer, the paid ticket must be purchased on Saturday or Sunday only. The offer is not combinable with other discounts.
