TODAYBrandon Blast: In honor of Independence Day, Westfield Brandon hosts its annual Brandon Blast from 5 to 9 p.m. in The Restaurant Courtyard in front of the Cheesecake Factory. The event includes live bands and family entertainment, culminating with the Brandon area's only fireworks display. Plant City parties: The City of Plant City presents its eighth annual July 4th Celebration at 6 p.m. at Plant City Stadium, 1810 East Park Road. Activities on the stadium turf, pending weather restrictions, include inflatables, volleyball, face painting and more. Food vendors will be there along with live music. Fireworks take place at 9:15 p.m. Admission is free and parking is $5.
