Lithia Springs Elementary School was constructed in 1991 and opened off Lithia-Pinecrest Road in 1992 with a capacity for 847 students. Construction at the time cost $6.8 million for the 184,000 square-foot school. Today, the school houses 601 students and has added an outdoor classroom and a covered court. The school was named for the nearby Lithia-Springs County Park.
