Honorary Mayor's Golf Tournament
The Honorary Mayor's Golf Tournament, in support of Riverview honorary mayor candidate Mike Wick, will be April 15 at 1 p.m. at Summerfield Crossings Golf Club, 13050 Summerfield Blvd. in Riverview.
The tournament will benefit Shriners Hospital for Children and the Riverview Chamber of Commerce.
Registration is $75 per person and includes lunch, dinner, cart, green fees, awards, goodie bag, range balls, one raffle and two drink tickets.
Awards will be given for longest drive, closest to the pin and a putting contest, among others; additional raffles and Mulligans available.

The March of Dimes Golf Tournament will be April 19 at Walden Lake Golf and Country Club with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. The best-ball scramble will feature prizes for longest drive, longest putt, hole-in-one and closet to the pin.
Registration costs $60 per person and includes lunch, green fees, cart, range balls and gift.

The second annual Zack Tucker Golf Scramble will be April 20 at Bloomingdale Golfers Club, 4113 Great Golfers Place, in Valrico with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the newly created foundation, Giving Hope Through Faith Foundation, founded in honor of the late Zack Tucker, who died of cancer last year.
The foundation was established to help Tampa Bay-area families who are experiencing the hardships brought on by cancer.
Registration is $150 per player, which includes green fees, range balls, a boxed lunch, entrance to the dinner auction and on-course soda and water.

The fifth annual golf tournament sponsored by the Krewe of Southshore Marauders will be April 21 with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start at Renaissance Golf Club in Sun City Center.
The scramble will raise money for scholarship funds for East Bay High School in Riverview.

The seventh annual Brandon Masonic Lodge Charity Golf Classic will be April 29 at the Golf Club of Cypress Creek, 1011 Cypress Village Blvd. in Ruskin. Super Y soccer
Brandon Area Youth Soccer League will host tryouts for the Super Y League summer soccer season, which is designed specifically for the elite level player. It is organized on a divisional level, not limited by geographical area, thus ensuring a higher level of play.
Only the top teams within a limited geographical area are selected to participate in the Super Y League; BAYSL is partnering with Blackwatch and the Lakeland Lazers.
Tryouts are as follows: U13 and U14 boys and girls April 18-19 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. U16 and U17 boys and girls April 18-19 from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m.
Fees are approximately $300 per player, which does not include travel or meals.
