LITHIA — Newland Communities reprises its Concerts for a Cause, featuring live rock 'n' roll and top 40 bands.
The event is free, but a donation of nonperishable food items for Feeding America Tampa Bay is requested.
During the 2013 Concerts for a Cause series, more than three tons of food were collected for Feeding America Tampa Bay, which helps hungry people in 10 West Central Florida counties.
Concerts will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. on Fridays:
♦ May 2, Stormbringer will perform classic rock with a light show at FishHawk Ranch's Central Park, 14215 Barrington Stowers Drive, Lithia.
♦ May 9, Mighty Mongo, a four-piece rock band from St. Petersburg, will play at the Landing at Waterset, 7012 Sail View Lane, Apollo Beach.
♦ May 16, Charlie Hotel will offer modern pop-rock covers at FishHawk Ranch.
♦ May 30, Bluestone Circle will get people dancing to its funk, disco and classic rock at Waterset.
♦ June 6, Mighty Mongo will perform at FishHawk Ranch.
♦ June 13, Charlie Hotel will play at Waterset.
♦ June 20, Lovestruck Robot, winner of the Florida Grammy Showcase, will play at FishHawk Ranch.
♦ June 27, Kings County of Orlando will play party rock and alternative/modern music at Waterset.
♦ From 6-9 p.m. July 4, Stormbringer will play at the last Concerts for a Cause show at Waterset, and Frequency Band will perform classic and current top 40 tunes in the final show at FishHawk Ranch.
