Hillsborough holds series of fun walks for seniors
Hillsborough County Aging Services has a plan to get seniors off the couch and exercising this year with a series of one-mile walks. The program, called Letís Move!, started in April and features nine themed one-mile walks, snacks and related events. The walks are held at different senior centers or nutrition centers around the county each month. Anyone over 50 can participate. To register, pick up a form from a participating center, visit the aging services website to print the form and fill it out or sign up the morning of each walk. A one-time registration fee of $5 is good for all nine walks. The walks are from 8:30-11:30 a.m.Free snacks and entertainment will be available. The remaining walks:
