And the hits keep coming!
In a year that's already seen a host of "they never come to Florida" bands get crossed off fans' bucket list, we're getting another huge one: Mumford and Sons.
The enormously popular English rockers will make their Tampa debut in a concert on Sept. 20 at Amalie Arena. Hiss Golden Messenger will open the show. Tickets are go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday. Click here for details. (This is part of a multi-date swing through Florida; they'll also be at Orlando's Amway Center on Sept. 21.)
So far this year, we've already seen concerts by Spoon and the Shins, and the same week Mumford and Sons come to town, Arcade Fire will play the USF Sun Dome. If only LCD Soundsystem had pickd Tampa for their just-annnounced fall tour ... but alas, Miami's as close as they'll come.
You're on deck, the National!
