Folk, blues, even a little bit of rock: The 2018 Safety Harbor SongFest has a little something for everyone.
Organizers on Sunday night announced the lineup for Safety Harbor's fifth annual festival, which returns April 7 to Safety Harbor Waterfront Park, and for the second straight year, Grammy-winning blues-folk artist Fantastic Negrito is near the top of the bill. Joining him are acclaimed singer-songwriter Josh Ritter, Black Taxi singer Ezra Huleatt and sibling Southern Gothic duo Larkin Poe, who have performed with Elvis Costello and Conor Oberst.
Also on the bill are Meiko, Christopher James and a handful of quality Tampa Bay and Florida artists: Selwyn Birchwood, the Betty Fox Band, Jonnie Morgan, Ari Chi, Mountain Holler, Danielle Mohr and the Urban Gypsies of Florida, among others.
Tickets are on sale now for $25, and that will increase to $30 in March and $35 in April. Click here for all the details on Safety Harbor SongFest 2018.
