Gradebook podcast: What should school be like after Hurricane Irma?

The anxiety of preparing for a major storm like Hurricane Irma, combined with the stress of living through the event and its aftermath, can cause tense times for students, teachers and parents. Louisiana-based mental health specialist Patti Ezell lived through such hard times after hurricanes Rita and Katrina, and has advised many schools on how to best approach the subject after Hurricane Harvey blasted Texas. She recently posted 16 recommendations that have been widely shared on Facebook. Ezell spoke with reporter Jeff Solochek about how Florida might deal with Irma as classes resume next week and beyond.
