Make plans now for the 36th Annual Swamp Stomp Music Festival at the Tallahassee Museum. Music fills the air on Saturday, July 12, from 4 – 9 p.m.
The museum is an outdoor facilty nestled near a lake and surrounded by oak trees – it’s the perfect place to relax and listen to Americana and bluegrass performances by the region’s best musicians.
Be sure to bring the kids along for the fun, too. In addition to great music, there will be outdoor games, close-up animal encounters, living history demonstrations and educational activities.
Admission to the Swamp Stomp Festival is included with general ticket purchases on the day of the event.
And, if you’re feeling adventurous, the museum’s Tree to Tree Adventures zip lining course will be open during the event.
To plan your visit, go to www.tallahasseemuseum.org. And when you go, be sure to take a stroll around the boardwalk just for me.
