Oldsmar Christian 6-foot-11 C Michael Durr confirmed Monday evening via Twitter he has committed to USF.
Durr, who arrived at Oldsmar last year from Atlanta, is deemed a three-star prospect by 247Sports. He also has offers from DePaul, Georgetown, Memphis and Pitt, Oldsmar coach John Bianchi said.
He becomes the second player from the Class of 2018 to commit to Brian Gregory's program in a week. Calhoun (Ga.) County 6-6 SF Rashun Williams gave a non-binding pledge last Monday.
Perhaps not coincidentally, Gregory's last head coaching job was in Georgia -- at Georgia Tech from 2011-16.
Durr nearly averaged a double-double (12.4 ppg. 9.6 rpg) last winter for Oldsmar, which won the Sunshine Independent Athletic Association state title. He plays for the prominent Atlanta Xpress travel team.
Here's a little highlight footage.
