Tampa Bay Times has listened to a voicemail Jameis Winston received from Uber relating to the March 2016 incident in Arizona.
The NFL is investigating the allegations that Winston grabbed a female Uber driver's crotch in 2016.
In the call, someone identifying himself as "Chris from the Uber office" informed Winston that his account had been placed on temporary hold pending an investigation.
"Hi Jameis, this is Chris calling from the Uber office,'' the caller said on the voice mail message. "I'm following up on a report we had from one of your recent trips where you or someone in the vehicle with you had some inappropriate behavior. I just want to follow up and get some more information on that. Your Uber account is on temporary hold while we investigate the situation. I'll follow up with e-mail and hopefully we can find a better time to connect.''
