Selena Gomez arena tour coming to Tampa
Selena Gomez is coming back to the Tampa Bay area, this time for music.
Fresh off her co-starring role in the racy, locally-filmed “Spring Breakers,” the multi-platinum-selling singer announced plans for a 56-city world tour.
She'll perform Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. at the Forum in downtown Tampa.
Tickets, priced $26 to $66, go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster outlets and the Forum box office at 401 Channelside Drive.
VIP packages will be available Wednesday at 10 a.m., the Forum said.
"I couldn't be more excited to tour again, but this time around the world. This has been such an interesting few months. My music has grown and I want my fans to see a new side of me. Can't wait to see y'all on the road!" Gomez said in a statement.
Gomez performed "Come & Get It," the first single from her upcoming album, during Sunday night?s MTV Movie Awards. That album is set for a summer release.
