Maroon 5, Clarkson headed to Amphitheatre
Friday the 13th, or at least the one that’s in September, will be a lucky day if you’re a fan of Maroon 5 or “American Idol” Kelly Clarkson. That’s the day their Honda Civic Tour will drive into the Live Nation Amphitheatre in Tampa. Maroon 5 announced dates today for the second leg of its national tour and Tampa is on the list, so start practicing your Jagger-like moves. Besides Clarkson who topped Billboard charts last year with “Stronger,” P.J. Morton is on the bill.“Kelly (and) PJ are such unique and amazing artists. I'm really looking forward to hitting the road with them,” said Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, who also judges NBC’s “The Voice.” “Each night will be a great night of music.” Maroon 5 Fan Club members have access to pre-sale tickets today and tickets go on sale Saturday to the general public via Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com, according to a news release. They will be $29.50 to $99, according to tickemaster.com.
