Eagles add Tampa concert to 'History' tour
The Eagles have extended their "History of the Eagles" tour to include a stop in Tampa. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers play the Forum on Nov. 20, with the full lineup of Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit performing songs spanning their career, including some that have never been performed live, according to a news release from the Forum. Tickets go on sale June 29 at 10 a.m. through all Ticketmaster outlets, by calling 1-800-745-3000, or in person the Forum box office. Ticket prices have not been released yet.The 41-city tour kicks off July 6 in Louisville, Ky. The band is hitting the road behind the DVD release of the Showtime documentary "History of the Eagles," which uses archival footage to give an intimate look into the history of the group. The Eagles have sold more than 120 million albums worldwide. Their "Greatest Hits 1971-1975" is the best-selling album of all time, having sold more than 29 million copies.
