Depeche Mode tour stopping in Tampa
Depeche Mode’s upcoming tour will swing through Tampa this summer. The English electronic band announced this week that The Delta Machine North American Tour will stop in 19 cities, including a date at the Amphitheatre in Tampa on Sept. 14. The band releases its new album, “Delta Machine,” on March 26. Depeche mode singer, songwriter and founding member Martin Gore said he’s looking forward to the tour.“When we’re performing, the stage almost becomes a mirror for the people who have been there since the beginning, and we become a reflection of our audience,” Gore said in a statement on the band’s website. The last time Depeche Mode was in Tampa was during its Tour of the Universe tour in 2009, also at the Amphitheatre. Tickets, priced from $29-$89.50, go on sale April 6 through livenation.com.
