Calvin Harris to play Trop after Rays-Rangers game
The Rays Summer Concert Series continues on Friday with a performance from the Scottish hit-making DJ, producer and songwriter Calvin Harris. Harris was the most successful songwriter in the United Kingdom last year, according to trade magazine Music Week and from a post on the BBC's news site. Leading the charge were his major smashes "We Found Love" for Rihanna and his own productions, "Bounce" with Kelis and "Feel So Close," which has gone platinum. Harris' newest track, "Let's Go," features Ne-Yo. Harris' set will take place after the Rays game against the Texas Rangers. The concert is free with the purchase of a game ticket. First pitch is at 7:10 p.m. In addition to game tickets, fans can watch Harris from the field by purchasing field access passes available at raysbaseball.com/concerts.Teen singer Coco Jones is scheduled to wrap up the year's Summer Concert Series with a performance after the Rays-Rangers game on Sunday.
