Classic rockers Bon Jovi announced the U.S. dates for an upcoming world tour, including a Tampa concert in March.
The iconic New Jersey band is slated to play the Forum on March 1, as part of Bon Jovi Because We Can – The Tour, which kicks off Feb. 9 in Uncasville, Conn.
Ticket prices will start at $19.50 – surprisingly low for a large-scale arena concert – in order to ensure access for all fans, according to a media release from the show's promoters. Tickets go on sale Nov. 30, but no further ticket information was released.
Bon Jovi, known for a catalog of decades-spanning hits such as "Living On a Prayer," and "It's My Life," has been an elite touring band for years, racking up close to a $1 billion in ticket sales since 2000. They last played Tampa in 2010, when The Circle tour stopped at the Forum.
The 2013 tour will debut new material from Bon Jovi's upcoming album, "What About Us," which is expected to come out in the spring.
Lead singer Jon Bon Jovi was in the news recently when his 19-year-old daughter, Stephanie Bongiovi, was arrested after an alleged heroin overdose. Charges against Bongiovi were later dropped under New York's so-called Good Samaritan 911 law.
The band is scheduled to play a star-studded concert benefitting the victims of Hurricane Sandy, alongside Bruce Springsteen, Kanye West, Paul McCartney and others on Dec. 12 at Madison Square Garden.
Bon Jovi's Tampa concert adds to an already-packed, early 2013 lineup at The Forum, which includes Muse (Feb. 23), Pink (Feb. 27), Lady Gaga (March 13), Rihanna (April 19) and Taylor Swift (April 20).
