If you didn’t get tickets to see scene-stealing “Parks and Recreation” co-star Aziz Ansari do stand-up in St. Petersburg next month, don’t fret.
Due to high demand, Ansari has added a second show to his March 16 “Modern Romance Tour” stop at The Mahaffey Theater. He’ll now perform at 7 and 10 p.m.
The 7 p.m. performance, announced in January, is nearly sold out.
Ansari plays overconfident local government official “Tom Haverford” on the NBC sitcom, and has appeared in films such as “This is the End,” “30 Minutes or Less,” “Funny People” and “Get Him to the Greek.”
His most recent stand-up special, “Buried Alive,” debuted on Netflix in late 2013 and finds Anzari pondering what it means to turn 30, when friends start getting married and raising kids — both terrifying propositions for the single Anzari. He also recently signed a deal with Penguin Press to write a book about dating in the smartphone era.
Tickets, priced at $38, are on sale through the The Mahaffey website.
