Three men were rescued Saturday after their boat capsized in Tampa Bay.
Good Samaritans pulled Raul Gutierrez, 40, Jorge Gutierrez, 51, and Jose Gari, 38, out of the water around 8:35 a.m., the Coast Guard said.
None of the men were injured. All three are from Kissimmee.
"You can never underestimate the importance of our boating community," Petty Officer 2nd Class Kristen Bachicha said in a statement.
A commercial tug boat reported the 20-foot capsized boat around 8:20 a.m., authorities said. The Coast Guard immediately issued an emergency broadcast to boaters and sent a 45-foot response vessel to help.
The good Samaritans arrived first.
Later, the Coast Guard crew met up with the good Samaritan crew and brought the boaters to Station St. Petersburg.
