Keswick Christian (0-9) at Bishop McLaughlin (1-8): The Hurricanes will look to salvage a win against a team that’s finally in an even matchup. The Crusaders have scored only 118 points this season, similar to Bishop’s 93.
Gulf (1-8) at Mitchell (5-4): The Buccaneers snapped their 20-game losing streak last week, and will look to continue their momentum against the Mustangs, who are led Nate Boler (596 yards, 7 TDs).
Land O’ Lakes (7-2) at Lecanto (2-7): The Gators may have missed the playoffs, but junior QB James Pensyl (2,056 passing yards, 18 TDs) will have one of best seasons by a Land O’ Lakes quarterback whose last name isn’t Weatherford.
Pasco (6-3) at River Ridge (3-6): The Pirates will fine tune their defense, despite having seven sacks against Zephyrhills, by facing Royal Knights running back Ben Perdomo (1,073 yards, eight TDs).
Sunlake (8-1) at Zephyrhills (7-2): The Seahawks defense will use the Bulldogs impressive offense as a good warm up before their playoff game at Gainesville next week.
Wiregrass Ranch (3-6) at Wesley Chapel (0-9): Is it finally the Bulls’ year to grab their first win against the crosstown-rival Wildcats? This is the seventh meeting of this rivalry and Wesley Chapel is 6-0, outscoring Wiregrass 139-52, but the Wildcats have scored only 47 points this season.
