The Community Service Committee of Tampa General Hospital's Cardiac Telemetry Unit and their family members recently volunteered at Feeding America Tampa Bay's warehouse on their days off as part of their ongoing community projects. The group of about 36 volunteers sorted food donated to Feeding America that will be distributed to people in need in a 10-county region across west Central Florida. Many of the nurses volunteered after working a 12-hour shift. Earlier this year the group organized free health screenings at the Tampa UPS headquarters.
