Country singer Cam, who was one of our top concert picks at this year's Florida Strawberry Festival, has abruptly canceled her performance there on Saturday.
The festival announced the news in a tweet. No explanation was given; only that she had canceled. An inquiry to Cam's publicist has not yet been returned. (*** UPDATE*** In an announcement, the Strawberry Festival said Cam canceled in order to pursue a "film opportunity.")
Replacing Cam at 3:30 p.m. Saturday is a free show by Rev. Pee Wee Collins and Friends. Tickets purchased for Cam will be refunded.
Cam is the third performer to pull out of the Florida Strawberry Festival this year, following DNCE and the Band Perry.
