Firefighters help cat with Doritos bag on head get off pole
Apparently cats like Doritos. And if YouTube videos are any indication, their heads tend to get caught in the bags when they go in for a chip. But one cat in St. Petersburg took it to a whole new level, literally, when its head got caught in a Doritos bag. Somehow, the cat ended up perched 20 feet up a light pole, surrounded by power lines with the bag on its head. An amateur videographer captured the St. Petersburg Fire Department's attempted rescue and posted it on YouTube. The firefighter took a ladder truck to the top of the 20-foot pole and managed to grab the cat. But as he brought it in, the cat squirmed, the bag flew off its head and the feline plunged to the ground. But just as one would expect a cat to do, it landed on its feet, and appeared uninjured, the videographer reported. The cat was last seen running behind a nearby home, the videographer said.
