One last pirate party for Gasparilla Outbound Voyage in Tampa
Capping off a month of parades, festivals, road races and other revelry, the Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla is giving Tampa one last chance to party like pirates. Pirates will set sail into the Bay on the Gasparilla Outbound Voyage after a celebration at Channelside Plaza on Saturday. Festivities begin at noon with live music, food and drink vendors in the plaza. The Krewe will exchange some final words with Mayor Bob Buckhorn before boarding the Jose Gasparilla pirate ship and sailing off at 6:30 p.m. The Salvation Army and St. Patrick’s Centre will have stations set up at the event to accept non-perishable food items for their hunger relief efforts. Those who bring a donation of a $10 value will receive a free child’s admission to the Florida Aquarium that day, with a paid adult admission.
