Fire destroys Clair-Mel youth center undergoing renovation with Vinik grant
An overnight fire engulfed the Winston Park Recreation Center that was undergoing renovation at 7605 Destin Drive in Tampa early Thursday. Firefighters had to knock down walls to get at some hot spots. By 7 a.m., crews were using a small bulldozer to push piles of smoldering debris to find others. [OCTAVIO JONES   |   Times]
